The territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia are as valuable as those of any other country, stated Serbia's Foreign Minister Marko Djuric today, after a meeting with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna, whom he informed about the situation in Kosovo and the unilateral actions of Pristina.

"During the first visit of a Serbian foreign minister to Estonia in 14 years, I was welcomed by Minister Margus Tsahkna. I expressed my gratitude for the hospitality, as we see this visit as an important step forward in our bilateral relations," Djuric wrote on the social media platform "X."

He added that he and his Estonian colleague exchanged views on key political, economic, and security issues and that he conveyed the belief that Serbia and Estonia share a common European future.

Djuric noted that Estonia and Serbia have much to be proud of when it comes to the IT and software industries and that they are leading in regional development, adding that the two nations could significantly benefit from stronger economic ties.

The Serbian foreign minister expressed confidence that cooperation and alignment between the Balkans and the Baltics have the potential to be the next "European success story."

"I informed my colleague about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the unilateral and uncoordinated actions of Kurti's regime, emphasizing that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia are as valuable as those of any other country," Djuric said.

Earlier, the head of Estonian diplomacy posted a video on the social media platform "X" of his meeting with the Serbian minister.

"I emphasized that it is unacceptable to shake hands with a war criminal who is attempting to undermine the security of Europe and the sovereignty of Ukraine. As a candidate for EU membership, Serbia is expected to align with the common foreign and security policy, and I support the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo towards peace," wrote Tsahkna.
