Dodik: The West dreams of 'Operation Storm' in the north of Kosovo, for the Serbs to become a marginalized minority neglected by everyone
Albin Kurti is an exponent of the Western part of the international community, which he suits, as they desire a 'blitzkrieg' in northern Kosovo, making the Serbs a marginalized minority that no one will care about. This is the plan of Brussels, London, New York, and Berlin, although they will never admit it, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik stated.
Dodik, emphasizing that the European Union pursues a "shabby, corrupt policy" regarding Kosovo, stated in an interview for Kosovo Online that Kosovo should never be recognized, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, he added, would not do so as long as Republika Srpska existed.
"Kosovo is a universal issue for Serbia and an interest-based issue for Brussels and others. Kosovo should never be recognized. We will never recognize their documents, allowing them to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina with ID cards. Anyone from Kosovo with a Serbian passport or ID card enters Bosnia and Herzegovina. For us, Kosovo is not a state", Dodik stated.
He wonders how it is possible for Kosovo to separate from Serbia, while Republika Srpska has no right to talk about it.
"Is that consistency? They say it's a different issue. And why? Explain, maybe I'm wrong... But how is it possible for it to be a different issue when it's a completely identical situation", Dodik observed.
Regarding Albin Kurti, he says Kurti is undoubtedly an exponent of the West, who suits them as such.
"They want a 'blitzkrieg' in northern Kosovo, for the Serbs to diminish there, to become a marginalized minority that no one will care about. That is their plan – Brussels, London, New York, and Berlin. They will never confirm or say that it is their plan, but it is", Dodik is convinced.
As he says, they are the ones who dream of some 'Operation Storm' in the north of Kosovo, just as they dream of an 'Operation Storm' in Bosnia and Herzegovina towards Republika Srpska.
"But, things have changed a bit, and I wouldn't exactly recommend such things", the President of Republika Srpska points out.
Speaking about the West's support for Kosovo, he reminds that even the Special Envoy of the United States, Gabriel Escobar, recently said that "everything they have been doing in recent years, they do in the interest of Kosovo", wanting it to become a visible member of the international community.
However, he notes that it doesn't work in their favor that in the last few years, even more than 20 countries have withdrawn recognition, thanks to the policy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
"I admire small countries, UN members, who have gathered the strength to recognize and withdraw recognition from this US interventionism and pressure. Countries fed up with tutelage", he added.
He states that the European Union pursues a shabby, corrupt policy regarding Kosovo, as it comes down to threats to stop investments in Serbia, isolation, until the moment when it becomes irrelevant what has been achieved in the normalization of relations, but only that Serbia de facto or "de jure" recognizes Kosovo.
This, he emphasizes, is a situation created by the West 20 years ago, unlawfully separating Kosovo from the legal system of Serbia, based on lies, such as those of the then-German Minister of Defense in the Bundestag, stating that "tens of thousands of captured and maltreated Albanians by the Serbian Army are on the stadium in Pristina", while their soldiers land at the airport.
"No one held him accountable for that lie. And we should be looking closely at Germany... If you want to be present in investments, then you must talk to us, not about us. You send us a person who has nothing to do with the law and say that you stand behind him. Behind Schmidt? What kind of Germany is that?" Dodik says.
According to him, lies about Kosovo are an attempt to break up the Serbian national corpus.
He reminds that it was normal for the Germans to unite East and West Germany, and he asks again – why Serbia and Republika Srpska are not allowed to do that.
"What is the problem? It's the same people here. What's the difference, are Germans a superior race, and we're not? I'm not against it, it was normal because it was a division into two military zones that turned into two states. But why don't you let us think about it after 200-500 years, instead of tearing our land apart, taking Kosovo, and seeking a unitary Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the Serbian corpus in Montenegro is not allowed to be a part of the government even when it wins democratic elections..." Dodik observes.
He adds that the unification of Serbia and Republika Srpska is a legitimate political goal, and when he mentions it, they call him an "ultranationalist".
"Just because it doesn't appeal to Berlin, Britain, Brussels, the US, doesn't mean I'm wrong", he asserts.
He also assesses that today there is "complete confusion" in the world, with no knowledge of what will happen in the end, but he also notes that if Serbs miss another opportunity to express a demand for unification, they will be fragmented and brought to marginalization and disappearance.
"And that is the goal of the West. Their goal is not just to recognize Kosovo and leave Serbia mutilated, but to create a national and ethnic dispute through the separation of Kosovo, which will be waged for decades. Divided structures are the best prey. That's why they don't need a strong Vucic or Dodik, but subordinates in Serbia, Republika Srpska, as they have them in Sarajevo and other places", Dodik stated.
He reminds that all international documents regarding Kosovo have been undermined – UN Security Council Resolution 1244, the Brussels Agreement from 2013.
"Kurti is a soldier on the ground for Brussels and Washington, nothing else. It is difficult for the leadership of Serbia led by Vucic to fight against that giant force that has attacked, but he is successfully leading it. He said he would never recognize Kosovo, and they will not forgive him for that. And they will look for someone who will. And when someone recognizes, then the national discord will last as long as the Kosovo myth, created after the Battle of Kosovo", Dodik warned.
The EU is an outpost of the USA – trust in the EU has declined; I doubt expansion by 2030
Speaking about the prospect of the region's membership in the EU by 2030, he says he is not optimistic because he reminds that in 2000 there was also planned enlargement, but nothing happened.
He is convinced that enlargement will not happen until it is in the interest of the EU countries.
"When it is in their interest to cover the sovereignty of the countries, they will do it, as they suddenly did for geopolitical reasons in the case of Romania and Bulgaria. As they do today with Ukraine, which has been given candidate status for EU membership, indicating that all European principles we have had in the accession negotiation process have been demolished", Dodik said.
Therefore, he says, there is less optimism for the EU in the region, regardless of what anyone says.
He also reminds that next year there are elections for the European Parliament, which means that they will focus on different things related to their own positioning.
In addition, he notes, primarily the conflict in Ukraine and now, to some extent, the events in Gaza, have obviously exhausted resources and are undermining all the principles known to the EU.
"In this regard, everything is absolutely uncertain. Those who observe see that there will be more hotspots in the world. How will Europe position itself in that if it continues like this? Its influence will further decline. That's why trust in the EU among the citizens of the Western Balkans is declining. On the other hand, we have now learned that this is not a flawless community and that it is not the land of milk and honey, but full of its internal animosities and problems", the President of Republika Srpska said.
According to him, Great Britain’s exit from the EU undermines the entire concept and leads to the consideration that the EU, in the most optimistic sense, is an outpost of the US, and that member states must not say a thing.
He is convinced that the US will continue to manage the EU until it - falls apart.
"They (from the EU) talk about wanting some small success at all costs, and that would be to talk about accession. And we know that there is no consensus there, and until there is consensus - there is no accession. Then it means that some are deceiving us, others are stopping us, and they are constantly talking in the hope that something will change", Dodik said.
In that sense, he also emphasizes that now, they impose the story about Kosovo to Serbia, which has fulfilled all the conditions and is today a more consistent country in terms of European principles than many European countries, and say that, until it recognizes Kosovo, it will not be an EU member.
He also says that Europe is completely "averaged", meaning that there is no important leader who can lead the EU, and rehabilitate it.
"There is not even a glimpse of it. Next year, there are elections in many European countries, and nowhere does a strong, politically consistent person appear who can impose himself in his country, let alone as a leader of the EU. The deficit that Angela Merkel created with her departure, no matter how one looks at her role, is a big gap that cannot be compensated for by various upswings that Brussels bureaucrats are trying to impose now. They constantly invent new rules, and now a new story about accession... They are just hiding from the public that what they impose on the Western Balkans as criteria for joining the EU - 18 member countries of the Union could not even fulfill now", Dodik said.
All of this, he adds, is supported by the lightly given story of six billion coming from the EU, wondering if it is worth selling character and sovereignty for paltry amounts.
"I am neither a persistent European skeptic nor a pronounced Euro-optimist. Europe without its consistent policy seems to me that it will not be able to survive for long as it has so far. I am not saying anything new here. In the EU in Brussels, there is almost no summit that does not talk about the future of the EU... Along with stories about changing the way decisions are made in the EU to be majority-based... Well, what will we do there then? This means that you can always be overruled and that opinions are imposed... If policy is conducted responsibly, we should not strive to lose our sovereign right", Dodik indicated.
He also notes that the EU has completely devastated the economic and political system by imposing sanctions on Russia.
"All businessmen will tell you, incognito, that Berlin's policy towards sanctions against Russia is wrong. Publicly, they will say that sanctions should be imposed, but the fact is that Germany has certainly lost a secure supply of cheap energy, which made its strategic advantage in economic and other terms. They will solve it with precision, but Germany today is not the Germany of five years ago", Dodik said.
He says that German businessmen "heads hurt" because of the policy towards Russia and reiterates that Washington imposes such a policy on Berlin.
"It is not in Germany's interest to conflict with Russia, but in the American. And now we need to enter that conglomerate and allow ourselves not to have the right to vote... What is the difference then from those who occupied us in 1914 or 1941? What is the difference, a billion you give us? We will survive without it too. It would be good to get it under fair circumstances, but they must understand that not everything is about payment. You come to a situation where you are against the wall and cannot go further. Show us success in the EU, bring back the optimism we had 15 years ago, and stop interfering in the internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina if you want a partnership. And don't talk to us about the rule of law, you are undermining rights wherever you go", Dodik concluded.
Solution for the conflict in the Middle East – two states, Israel and Palestine.
Regarding the conflict in the Middle East and the potential threat to security in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dodik points out that antisemitism is present among the Muslim population in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it has escalated recently.
"Hamas entered and killed children, elderly people, but primarily the youth. And these are not only Jews but also others. They say around 1,200 people, isn't that a lot? Is what is happening in the Gaza Strip, where innocent people are dying, justified? No. But is this a reason for antisemitism? That is wrong", Dodik stated.
He believes that the solution should be sought through the establishment of two states – Israel and Palestine.
"They should solve it in that way, just as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the only way for something to coexist is for the solution to be three independent states", he is convinced.
He also warns that significant cells of mujahideen are present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reminding that a few years ago, the service released information that there were as many as 3,500 of these "holy warriors of Islam" in the country, waiting for orders.
"It is a big question where they are today", Dodik pointed out, adding that more than 500 of them participated in the war on the side of the Islamic State, of which just over 150 were returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I survive because I lead a consistent policy supported by the citizens of the Republika Srpska
When asked how he managed to survive despite the demonization he was subjected to, he responds that demonization is always propaganda, which is not the truth, and that he survives thanks to the consistent policy he pursues.
"I try to explain everything to people, even those who don't want to listen. They don't want dialogue because they want to decide about us, not talk to us. I survive because I have significant support from the people; I win elections. I am a product of the people, and I pursue a policy that obviously suits them, while opposition parties, funded by Germany or Britain, exclusively work on destabilization. Physically, I am not endangered yet, but I will find a way to protect myself", Dodik said.
