The President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AFK) and the party's candidate for Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, stated that the Kosovo government, led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, is creating armed resistance in northern Kosovo through its misguided policies, reports RTV 21.

Haradinaj, referencing the incidents in Banjska last year and the explosion in Zubin Potok at the Ibar-Lepenac canal, said these were all consequences of Kurti's actions.

"Kurti claims the north has been liberated. The truth is somewhat different. He has created armed resistance in the north. Don't forget that. Through attacks, protests, and blockades, we have managed to create armed resistance. This has happened to Kosovo on its own territory," Haradinaj stated.

He emphasized that the U.S. and the EU are tolerating armed attacks in Kosovo solely because of Kurti's behavior.

"In other circumstances, in any country in Europe, they would be alarmed and take a stand against armed attacks. But due to his behavior, Europe and America are tolerating such things on our territory. Chetniks have no place in Kosovo—neither in the north, nor the south, nor anywhere else. We came here with much bloodshed, and we will not forget the sacrifices made by this nation," Haradinaj concluded.
