Vice President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, says that the damage due to the EU sanctions imposed on Kosovo exceeds 400 million euros, Albanian Post writes.
“Due to EU punitive measures, Kosovo has lost over 420 million euros. We must work hard to lift the measures. It will be difficult, as it requires the consensus of 27 states,“ Haziri said at a press conference in Gnjilane.
Speaking about the decision of the Central Bank of Kosovo to ban the use of the dinar in Kosovo, Haziri said that there should not have been a discussion about this issue.
'The issue of the dinar will end up like the energy issue. Stubbornness up to a certain point, and then withdrawal. It was said by the Kosovo Government that they would not meet at all regarding the dinar issue, but they met and talked,“ Haziri said.
