Haziri: There will be new repercussions, Americans keep their word

Vice President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, announced that there will be new sanctions against Kosovo by the international community, as reported by Reporteri.

Haziri added that the United States keeps its word.

"I don't believe they collectively condemn the people of Kosovo. They have stated that they have issues with certain leaders who threaten peace and security. When Americans say something, they stand by their word. They don't speak without thinking. In the Balkans, actions speak louder than words," Haziri stated.

Haziri assessed that the unilateral actions in northern Kosovo had caused great turmoil among allies.

"We have not only offended one diplomat. We have concerned many of our partners. There will be repercussions. I wouldn't call them sanctions," Haziri stated.
