The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, said that there should be law enforcement in the north, but that it also referred to the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and the return of the property to the Visoki Decani Monastery, Albanian Post reports.

Hoxhaj stated that it was vital to build normal relations with Serbia.

"We, who have been in the government for the last few years, believe that it is in the interest of Kosovo to build a relationship with Serbia, in order to end the conflict. We need an honest dialogue with the Serbian community in the north of the country, but gangs should not have room for maneuver," Hoxhaj pointed out.

According to him, the citizens of Kosovo voted for Albin Kurti, who, he says, proved to be a threat to Kosovo.

"People voted for a population like Kurti, who proved to be a threat to Kosovo from the inside and outside. Kurti is a product of the spread of populism among the society in this country," Hoxhaj said.

He pointed out that the most important thing for Kosovo was to decide whether to continue on this path.

"The main polemic in Kosovo should be about whether we want to move with a new political parameter, or whether we want to be in this political slaughterhouse that we entered in recent years," Hoxhaj said.
