Vladimir Lucic, the CEO of Telekom Serbia, stated today that the company had no intention of selling any shares but rather had plans to expand its business, adding that they had had business problems in Kosovo since Albin Kurti's regime came to power, as reported by Euronews Serbia.

Lucic said that the Telekom company had been facing business issues in Kosovo since Albin Kurti's regime came to power, whose aim was to make life difficult for the Serbian community and shut down Serbian companies.

"The main attack on Telekom was in August, but we managed to solve it with the help of the US administration," Lucic said on Happy TV.

According to him, there were attempts to limit Telekom's operations and retroactively apply the law to punish the company with a fine of 1.5 million euros for the purchase of four operators.

Lucic stated on Happy TV that there would definitely be a reshuffle in the Western Balkans in 2024, and some other operators would sell their shares, but not Telekom.

"Our revenue will be close to two billion euros this year, and Telekom Serbia only needs to expand its business," Lucic said, dismissing claims of selling 20 percent of shares, which would result in losing control over the business.

As he notes, the United Group has been dealing with Telekom for six years, and that company is expanding.

"It will be interesting to see who will be selling shares this year," he said, reiterating that Telekom is focused on its business and its results.
