Macut meets with Felix: Serbia appreciates Mexico's position on non-recognition of Kosovo
Serbian Prime Minister Djuro Macut met today with Mexican Ambassador Carlos Felix, thanking him for Mexico's principled position and consistent support for the preservation of Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for its unchanged stance on the non-recognition of Kosovo's independence.
According to a statement issued by the Serbian Government, Macut and Felix discussed further enhancing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting underscored that the two countries maintain traditionally friendly relations based on mutual respect and understanding.
The interlocutors also discussed opportunities to intensify economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of commerce and industry, as well as to expand collaboration in other sectors of shared interest.
Macut emphasized that Serbia attaches great importance to the further development of relations with Mexico and expressed confidence that upcoming high-level contacts would provide additional impetus to overall bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Felix recalled that this year marks the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and stressed Mexico's commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Serbia.
