Mariani: Pristina under EU protection systematically harasses Serbs

The authorities in Pristina, protected by the European Union, continue to systematically harass Serbs in Kosovo, French MEP from the "Patriots for Europe" Thierry Mariani said at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

He stressed that Albin Kurti continues to carry out ethnic cleansing against the Serbian population.

He pointed out that there is general repression, and that 15 percent of Serbs left Kosovo over the past year.

Mariani reminded that the use of the dinar is prohibited, which threatens the payment of salaries and pensions, and that the ethnic composition of the police is almost exclusively Albanian.

He warned that the 880 million euros announced by the EU for Kosovo will be used for additional repression against Serbs.
