Miscevic: Serbia is implementing the assumed obligations; Pristina must also start doing so

The Minister for European Integration of Serbia, Tanja Miscevic, said today that Serbia was very clear that it implemented the assumed obligations, but that Pristina also had to start doing so, RTS reports.

She said this at a press conference with the Vice-President of the Macedonian Government for European Affairs, Bojan Maricic, after the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation, and emphasized that the key to the continuation and progress of the dialogue was the implementation of the obligations that Pristina had, which were related to drafting the statute and the functioning of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.

"After the agreement in Ohrid, a meeting of two technical negotiators was organized at the beginning of this week. A declaration on the missing persons was agreed upon and the CSM was discussed for the first time. Serbia is aware of its obligations from the European proposal, which will also become part of Chapter 35," Miscevic said when asked by a journalist what Serbia should implement within the framework of the agreement.
