Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Kurti is enforcing his fascist policy before the eyes of the international community

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija has stated that Albin Kurti continues to pursue a policy of arbitrary arrests and expulsions of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, with the latest targets of his retaliatory and anti-Serb policy being Serbs who reside in Kosovo and Metohija but are employed in police departments in central Serbia.
According to the Office, Milan Zlatanovic (44), a father of three from Veliko Ropotovo, who has worked for nearly 20 years in the police force in Nis and lives with his family in Kosovo, was “detained this morning by Kurti’s police at the Konculj crossing” and has just been deported to central Serbia.
“Zlatanovic is the latest victim of Pristina’s reprisals and politically motivated arrests, which lack any legal basis. The Office for Kosovo and Metohija has provided him, as well as the three Serbs deported from Kosovo and Metohija yesterday, with legal assistance and is fighting for their rights through diplomatic channels,” the statement reads.
It further notes that, under Kurti’s orders, five Serbian police officers residing in the Kosovo Pomoravlje region were prevented from entering the territory of Kosovo to return to their posts, homes, and families.
“It is unprecedented that, before the eyes of the entire international community, Kurti is enforcing his fascist policy of persecuting an entire people and ethnically cleansing Serbs from their ancestral homes, while those who are supposed to guarantee a peaceful life for Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija remain silent,” the Office emphasized.
They also stated that the Office for Kosovo and Metohija has been in direct contact with representatives of the European Union for the past two days regarding the latest escalatory actions by the regime in Pristina, and that all relevant international actors have been duly informed.
