The Office for Kosovo and Metohija has stated that the wave of violence carried out by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in northern Kosovo also left its mark and echoed in Serbian communities south of the Ibar River, where the "Braca Aksic" Elementary School in Lipljan was stoned last night around 22:30 PM.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija reminds that approximately 50 Serbian students attend this educational institution, and due to fear for the safety of their children, some parents did not allow their little ones to come to school today.

"Residents are more than concerned about the attack on this school and new incidents that Albanian extremists may carry out, emboldened by the aggressive rhetoric and policies of Pristina," the statement says.

It is further noted that the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, through its representatives on the ground, will address the material damage that has occurred. However, as they stated, a greater presence of international missions in Serbian communities is necessary to avoid and prevent any incidents, ensuring that Serbs feel safer.

"No incident should be ignored or viewed in isolation, as it can further escalate the situation on the ground, as we have repeatedly warned in the past," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija emphasized.
