At the opposition protest in Belgrade, masked people with symbols of the Wagner group

Tonight, an opposition protest against the acceptance of the Franco-German plan for Kosovo was held in front of the Church of St. Sava in Belgrade. The right-wing parties Dveri, Zavetnici and the NADA coalition called on citizens to reject "capitulation in the continuation of talks with Pristina tomorrow in Ohrid", RTS reports.

Those gathered with the banners "Community of Serb-majority municipalities is a fraud" and "No capitulation" walked to the Presidency of Serbia, and the organizers addressed them in front of the monument to Tsar Nicholas.

Parliamentary parties that do not accept the European plan for the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina organized the meeting on the day of the pogrom of Kosovo Serbs in 2004.

"Tonight is a fight for the life of the Serbian people. We have the right not to be destroyed. We have the right to live. We will fight for that right as in 1999, as in 1991, as in 1992, as in 1941, as in 1914, 1912, 1804, until 1389. We are their descendants," said Milos Kovic, professor of history at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.

As Demokracija reports, at the protest, a group of masked people, some of whom wore clothes with the symbols of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner, held a sign that read: "The people and the church in defense of the state, against treason, this is the only solution."

Demonstrators chanted "Serbia, Russia, we don't need the European bloc" and "Serbia, Russia".

Demonstrators waved Serbian flags and chanted slogans against the European Union and said that "Community of Serb-majority municipalities is a farce."

The main demand of the demonstrators was the rejection of the European proposal for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

"Today we have one message, to protect the homeland, without party symbols, everyone is welcome," said Milica Djurdjevic-Stamenkovsi, president of the right-wing party Zavetnici.

As the media reports, the opposition parties have close relations with Russia, and representatives of right-wing parties have visited Moscow in recent months.
