Petkovic confers with Gori on the dialogue and the security situation in Kosovo

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, met today with the Ambassador of Italy to Serbia, Luca Gori, with whom he discussed the political and security situation in Kosovo and the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue.

“A cordial and friendly conversation with His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Serbia, Mr. Luca Gori. We exchanged views on fundamentally important topics of mutual interest, with a particular focus on the political and security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the course of the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue,” Petkovic stated in a post on Instagram.

Petkovic also expressed his gratitude for Italy’s understanding of Serbia’s position on a number of issues.

“I thanked His Excellency for Italy’s understanding of Serbia’s position on numerous matters, to which the excellent relations that President Aleksandar Vucic maintains with the Prime Minister of Italy, Ms. Giorgia Meloni, have significantly contributed,” Petkovic added.
