Petkovic: Kurti is the one violating agreements, not Belgrade
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, says that those in Pristina who are daily violating all possible agreements guaranteed by the European Union have dared to accuse Belgrade with fabricated stories about some alleged violations of the agreement on integrated crossings management, which is not the case at all.
According to the statement, Petkovic pointed out that Belgrade had repeatedly publicly emphasized and documented the indisputable fact that Pristina is an unreliable and inconsistent partner in the dialogue, resorting to deceit, manipulation, false accusations, and fabricated scandals to cover up its misdeeds, which is precisely what it is doing now.
"Pristina has been violating the integrated crossings management agreement for over a year because it has been blocking the import of Serbian goods to Kosovo and Metohija for nearly 500 days, thereby preventing the flow of goods, which is one of the fundamental elements of this agreement. Even after the supposed lifting of the blockade at the Merdare crossing, Pristina continues to blatantly violate all possible agreements and deals, as it is holding over 100 trucks with goods at this crossing, hiding behind fabricated and absurd procedures, all in full view of the international community," he said.
As he emphasized, the list of agreements Pristina violates daily is long, starting with the fact that for more than 11 years, it has refused to establish the Community of Serb Municipalities, and instead, it has unlawfully and forcefully dismantled Serbian institutions in Kosovo, which should form the basis for creating the CSM.
"Therefore, every lie spoken by Albin Kurti and his subordinate, Xhelal Svecla, is quickly exposed, and their futile attempts to accuse Belgrade of anything are just desperate moves aimed at diverting the attention of their own political public from the pressing problems they are unable to solve, with Belgrade serving as a convenient scapegoat. Already seen and transparent," the statement concludes.
