Petkovic: They handed down the verdict to Todosijevic to further intimidate the Serbs

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, assessed that today's handing down of the verdict to Ivan Todosijevic had been carefully calculated in Pristina with a single goal - to put additional pressure on the Serbs, to intimidate them and to silence them, so that they cannot warn about the terror of Pristina.

"It is obvious that Kurti is trying in every way to provoke the Serbs and a new crisis on the ground because he did not manage to provoke an excessive reaction from our people with rifles or armored vehicles! The Serbs do not fall for his provocations and that is why he is now attacking Ivan Todosijevi because he knows that every Serb in Kosovo and Metohija is in solidarity with him," Petkovic said.

He pointed out that in the case of Ivan Todosijevic, several provisions of the Brussels Agreement had been violated, especially point 10.

"Point 10 says that the composition of the judges of the court panel for cases coming from Serbian communities must be Serb-majority, but Todosijevic's other basic democratic and civil rights to freedom of speech and opinion were also violated," Petkovic said on Facebook.
