Rakic from Rudare: We are asking for peace and for the hunting of the Serbs to stop

The president of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, said from the town of Rudare, where the Serbs were at the barricades, that the night had passed peacefully, and as he stated, they wanted peace and demanded that the unjustly arrested Serbs be released, as well as that Albin Kurti withdrew his units, which he had sent to the north.

"On behalf of the Crisis Staff, I want to inform the public that the night passed peacefully thanks to the brave people who managed to survive in these areas, preserve their homes, and preserve peace. We only want one thing, we want peace. We don't want anything else, we just want to save ourselves and our families," Rakic said.

He pointed out that this was not about the actions of the Serbs, but that these were "reactions to the unilateral moves of Pristina".

“We are asking for peace, common sense for all parties, above all for Pristina; and for the release of our citizens who were unjustly arrested; and for Albin Kurti to withdraw all the units he sent to the north, that is, to stop mistreating our children and to stop hunting the Serbs," Rakic said.
