Sadiku: Self-Determination violating Constitution three times to hold elections on December 27
Democratic League of Kosovo MP Ermal Sadiku expects Self-Determination to take Kosovo’s citizens to new elections on December 27.
Commenting on Self-Determination’s decision to vote for the PDK and LDK candidates for Deputy Speakers of Parliament at today’s constitutive session, he said that the entire deadlock had been engineered with the aim of holding elections in December.
“Now the Self-Determination Movement has decided to vote for the Deputy Speakers nominated by the other parties. As I said two months ago, they will take us to elections again during the winter. With this decision, they have set the date they mentioned—December 27. Sixty days plus 45 days takes us precisely to December 27. So this entire deadlock, the games with the Assembly and the stalling were all intended to get them to the date they had planned,” Sadiku wrote on Facebook.
He added that Self-Determination was a party that had violated the Constitution three times solely in order to reach an election date that suited it.
“A party that does not want stability. It wants chaos. You will be finished politically. The people will not forget these games you are playing with the state,” Sadiku said.
