The former Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Petrit Selimi, reacted to an article by the British Telegraph, which stated that the Kosovo Police is arming itself due to the potential threat of an attack by Serbia, allegedly organized in collaboration with Russia. Selimi emphasized that Kosovo is safer than London and that it is necessary for "normalcy to prevail" regarding the situation on the ground.

On Selimi pointed out on "X" that the body armor and camouflage clothing worn by the Telegraph journalist, who reports from the crossing between Serbia and Kosovo, are unnecessary.

"Serbia certainly threatens Kosovo. But statistically speaking, Kosovo is safer than London. SoSo bullet proof vests and camouflage clothes for reporters seem superfluous. A real conundrum: we need Western media and politicos to pay attention but we also need for normality to prevail," Selimi stated.
