Selmanaj: From EU sanctions to constant criticism from the US - this is where Kurti has led us

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Driton Selmanaj assessed that it was indicative that Prime Minister Albin Kurti had not had any meetings with representatives of US institutions during his visit to the United States, but rather, the visit had been limited to a session of the United Nations Security Council.

"It is indicative that Kurti did not hold any meetings with the institutions of the country that have played a major role in the freedom, independence, and consolidation of Kosovo," Selmanaj wrote on Facebook. 

He also observed that next week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was coming on an official visit to Albania, but not to Kosovo. 

"We have been under EU sanctions for 228 days. From the US, we constantly receive criticism for unilateral behavior and actions. This is where this man has led Kosovo," Selmanaj wrote.
