The Serb List stated that the decision of Albin Kurti's regime to abolish the use of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo from February 1 was, in fact, a decision to expel the Serbs from these areas without the use of weapons.

“After all forms of institutional violence used against the Serbs by Kurti's authoritarian regime, which failed to expel all Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, he has now decided to ban the Serbian dinar in Kosovo and Metohija, thereby directly endangering the physical survival of the Serbs“, the statement says.

As they add, considering that tens of thousands of Serbs live and survive in Kosovo and that all Serbian institutions function thanks to financial contributions from the state of Serbia, one can imagine what would happen to the Serbs if the Serbian dinar were abolished.

"So, Kurti wants to eliminate the life of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. Given how dangerous this decision is, its implementation would cause classic ethnic cleansing of the Serbs and non-Albanians from these areas", the statement warns.

It is stated that this must be an alarm for international representatives to urgently react and stop Kurti's madness before it's too late.

They emphasize that it's not the time for anemic messages that are perceived in Pristina as approval but for a decisive reaction that will protect the Serbs from this atrocity.
