Serb List: This Christmas will be remembered as the day when innocent Serbian blood was shed

The Serbian list pointed out that this year's Christmas would be remembered as the day when Serbs called for peace, but also the day when innocent Serbian blood was shed.

"Instead of all of us rejoicing at Christmas together, Serbs fear for the lives of their children. It is regrettable that the representatives of the international community did not do anything to prevent such brutal, unprovoked attacks on Serbian civilians, and even persistently avoid stating that it was attempted murder of a Serbian national. It is hypocritical that they condemned more strongly and harshly the fictitious throwing of pyrotechnics at the EULEX vehicle a few weeks ago than the attempt to kill Serbian children," stated the statement of the Serb List.

The Serb List said that on behalf of the Serbian people they demanded that international forces increase their presence in Serbian areas.

"And they prevent new attacks and outpourings of hatred against Serbs in the south because they have repeatedly pointed out that they had the capacity to take care of the peace and security of citizens, and that their responsibility was greatest when it came to the peace and security of the Serbian people," the Serb List said.
