Serb List: Serbian people understood Kurti's threats; KFOR and EULEX should be on alert

The Serb List has stated that the multitude of untruths spoken in Pristina by Albin Kurti could not hide the anti-Serbian character of his regime. The Serb List has pointed out that the Serbian people had understood Kurti's threats made from Brussels and called on KFOR and EULEX to be on alert and take preventive measures to prevent those threats from materializing.

"This is not a story but a fact supported by the activities of his regime, paramilitary units, and fake mayors implemented against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, especially in the north in recent months," the Serb List stated.

The statement reminds that the decision of the Serb List and all citizens to leave Kosovo's institutions in the north of Kosovo was made absolutely independently as a result of the "persecution of the Serbian people carried out continuously by the regime of Albin Kurti."

"Serbs left the institutions and did not want to participate in fake elections because they could not tolerate someone targeting innocent citizens, having paramilitary special units beat and mistreat the Serbian people, seize Serbian land, and create illegal military bases by militarizing the north of Kosovo and Metohija. They arrested innocent Serbs using brutal force, and some are still held in custody without any evidence of guilt, they revoked the right to vote for Serbs and banned the holding of Serbian elections and referendums, hindered the treatment and vaccination of the Serbian people, confiscated medicines and medical supplies, threatened to arrest doctors and health workers, they used their rhetoric to incite ethnically motivated attacks on Serbs, their property, and the Serbian Orthodox Church, no attack on Serbs has been resolved, and the attackers have not received the punishment they deserve, the decision to return the land to the Visoki Decani Monastery has not been respected to this day, and the agreements signed in Brussels, especially regarding the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities, but also the respect for agreements on judiciary, police, cadastre, diplomas, etc., have not been adhered to," the statement said.

The Serb List emphasizes that all the lies uttered by Albin Kurti cannot obscure the truth known to all citizens who endure his tyranny every day, and even representatives of the international community, whose members in the field daily observe that Kurti says one thing and does another.

"He talks about democracy and the rule of law but enforces autocracy and tramples on all legal acts. Instead of de-escalating the situation today, he continues to raise tensions through his loyalists and jeopardizes the fragile peace to cover up the failure of his policy among his voters, all to the detriment of the Serbian people. We tell Kurti that the Serbian people have understood his threats made from Brussels, and we are aware that he has only shown his true face. However, we call on KFOR and EULEX to be on alert and take preventive measures to prevent these threats from materializing and to prevent Kurti from creating another conflict on European soil," the statement concluded.
