Seven Serbs under investigation after the closure of the Provisional Authorities of the municipalities of Pec, Klina and Istok
The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pec confirmed that an investigation was being conducted against seven people after the closure of the Provisional Authorities of the municipalities of Pec, Istok and Klina, reports Koha.
Last week, by order of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pec, three facilities where the Provisional Authorities of the Pec, Istok and Klina municipalities were located were closed.
According to the spokesman of the prosecution in Peja, Skadran Nikqi, an investigation is being conducted against the suspects after the action.
"As a result of this action, seven persons were taken to the police, where they were questioned as suspicious persons and, on the authority of the state prosecutor, criminal proceedings were initiated against them. At the moment, the police, at the request of the prosecution, is conducting an investigation and collecting other evidence," said Nikqi.
He announced that numerous documents were confiscated during the action.
"Computer equipment, telephones and numerous documents with inscriptions and seals of the Serbian state were confiscated," Nikqi said.
