The vice-president of the Serb List, Igor Simic, said at a press conference that the arrest of Milovan Bozovic had been the last straw, and added that if he was not released from custody, the Serbs in Kosovo would show that they did not accept such a situation.

Simic stated that Bozovic had been arrested near his home and that he was being charged with serious crimes without any evidence.

"Citizens are upset because it's a kidnapping, it's Albin Kurti's regime. The fact that they use force, and don't have any evidence, supports that. Svecla has already declared him guilty without a verdict or evidence," Simic said.

He stated that there had been 32 ethnically motivated attacks since the beginning of the year.

"An environment is being created that it goes unpunished and that no one is held accountable for it. People are mistreated, illegally and unconstitutionally, and the police must be multi-ethnic. I want to emphasize that this is the last straw. In the event that Bozovic is not released, the Serbs will rise up and show the unacceptability of the situation. There will be an uprising against Albin Kurti's regime and his rule," Simic said.

As he stated, the Serb List and the Serbs from Kosovo demanded the release of the arrested citizen of Zubin Potok.

"The member of the KSF who shot the Serbian children is now at home, obviously the life of a Serbian child is not worth it. No one suffered the consequences for that. We warned that we would leave the institutions, and we did so because of the arrest of the Serbs. We do not threaten, we warn that the citizen of Zubin Potok be released, despite the stories from Vjosa Osmani's office," Simic said.

As he added, according to the information he had received from the Bozovic family, the lawyer was trying to find out where he was.

"No Serb who has had an encounter with their police, does not think that they are doing their job properly. Many people have been arrested since the Serbs left the police. This is institutional violence. People are being beaten and harassed. Why do the Serbs not have basic human rights?" Simic asked.

He emphasized that Pristina was using force against the Serbs.

"Pristina considers our educational institutions illegal. Should the Serbs expel children from schools? No. They characterize the health center as illegal. We will not respect that. Unfortunately, Pristina uses brutal force against the Serbs, and this caused a reaction from the Serbs. They say that the problem is the elections and the barricades, and the Serbs were forbidden to vote in the referendum. Does anyone ask what rights the Serbs have? That is why we left the institutions. We said not to arrest the Serbs, and they declare someone guilty after five minutes, that's why we will always defend people," Simic added.

As he stated, radical actions were being talked about because basic rights were being violated, and as he stated, even the international community was not reacting.

"We do not accept their silence. I will give myself the right to say that they are not able to protect the rights of the Serbs in Kosovo. If they think they are creating a new reality, we will not agree with that," Simic emphasized.
