Spahiu: Kurti cannot undermine US-EU relations

Professor Nexhmedin Spahiu stated that the criticisms from Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti directed at the European Union's envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, were advantageous for Serbia and that Kurti could not undermine the relations between the United States and the European Union, as reported by Dukadjini.

Spahiu mentioned that Kosovo was the weaker party in this case.

"I believe this is part of a scenario; by accusing the mediators of collaborating with Serbia, Kurti is making it easier for the Serbian side," Spahiu noted.

He emphasized that Kurti had done the right thing by expressing his views in such a manner because, as he added, the CSM should not be formed before recognition.

According to him, Kurti cannot harm the relations between the European Union and the United States because Kosovo is a very minor issue in the EU-US alliance.
