Special Forces searched Radojevic at the new checkpoint: I invite international representatives to come and see for themselves
The former mayor of North Mitrovica, Milan Radojevic, published today a video from the new checkpoint established by the Kosovo police in the north and called on representatives of the international community, who did not believe that the Kosovo police were increasing their presence there every day, to come and see for themselves the real situation.
"Given that some representatives of the international community do not believe that the presence of the Kosovo police in the north is increasing, behind me is the new checkpoint that the Kosovo police has set up in the north. I hereby appeal to the representatives of the international community to visit the north of Kosovo but to do so in private vehicles and without announcement. They will encounter the hospitality of the Serbian hosts," he said in a video message posted on his Facebook profile.
Radojevic said that he was interested in their impressions of the treatment they would receive if they went to the north of Kosovo in private vehicles, with their family, without notice from members of the Kosovo police.
"Please convey these impressions to our citizens," he emphasized.
He also shared his experience with the Kosovo police after filming the video message.
"After we headed back, they stopped us and completely searched the car. They asked for the phones of Nemanja Bisevac and me, but we refused to hand them over. After a complete search, detention, and questioning, they let us continue our journey. We are waiting for the experiences of representatives of the international community," he wrote.
