Starovic: Pristina's request for EU membership seems like a parody

The recent State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nemanja Starovic, pointed out that it was a parody that Pristina had applied for EU membership.

He stated on Twitter that Kosovo's joining the EU ignored the UN Charter, as well as the Lisbon Treaty.

"The provisional authorities in Pristina have just applied for EU membership. At first glance, it seems like a parody. Accession to the European Union of a non-state under the administration of the UN completely negates the UN Charter, the Treaty of Lisbon, etc. I wonder if I could apply to NASA for a flight to the moon?", Starovic said.
