Students of the University of Pristina raised the KLA flag in front of the Rectorate
The Student Parliament of the University of Pristina organized today the raising of the KLA flag in front of the Rectorate, marking the 56th anniversary of the founding of this institution, and the gathering also represented support for former KLA leaders who are being tried in The Hague in proceedings that have entered the closing arguments phase, Demokracia reports.
As stated, this symbolic action represents student support for former KLA leaders, who are currently facing court proceedings in The Hague, where the closing arguments phase in the case is taking place this week.
The KLA flag was raised in the presence of a large number of students, who said that in this way they wanted to express solidarity with the accused and, as they stated, highlight the importance of preserving the dignity and historical role of the KLA.
Following the activity in front of the Rectorate, the students announced that the gathering would continue in front of the Office of the European Union in Pristina, where they will present their public position regarding the court proceedings in The Hague and the importance of protecting justice for former KLA members.
