Survey: Support for Kurti dropped from 59.5 percent in May 2021 to 44.9
The level of citizens' satisfaction with the performance of Prime Minister Albin Kurti decreased by almost 15 percent from May 2021 to November 2022, according to the 23rd edition of the United Nations Development Program's (UNDP) "Public Pulse", Koha reports.
The public opinion survey was conducted in the period from October to November 2022.
The report states that Kurti had the highest support of the citizens during the survey in May 2021, shortly after taking power. At that time, the level of citizens' satisfaction with his performance was 59.5. However, in November 2021 it dropped to 53.2 percent, while in April 2022 it was 52.6 percent. The latest poll shows the lowest satisfaction rating for Kurti's performance since he took office. In November, 44.9 percent of surveyed citizens were satisfied with his performance.
President Vjosa Osmani currently enjoys the trust of citizens of 56.8 percent but this is less than in the penultimate survey when 58.4 percent were satisfied. In May 2021, the level of satisfaction with Vjosa Osmani's performance was 63.7 percent.
