President of the United States Donald Trump stated that his administration has taken significant steps in recent weeks to resolve international conflicts, including, as he noted, the relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

“In the last few weeks, we’ve been working on India and Pakistan, Kosovo and Serbia. We’ve also gotten involved in Congo and Rwanda – that was a brutal war that lasted a long time. We’ve done two more things on top of that. Nobody has ever done anything like it,” Trump said at today’s press conference during the NATO summit in The Hague.

Last week, in an interview with Fox News, Trump said that he should have been awarded the Nobel Prize for resolving, among other things, the Kosovo-Serbia issue.

“I should’ve gotten the Nobel Prize for Rwanda, and did you see the case of Congo? You could say Serbia and Kosovo. You could mention many of these cases. The biggest ones are India and Pakistan. I should have received the Nobel Prize four or five times,” Trump said when asked whether he could receive the Nobel Prize if he resolves the conflict between Israel and Iran.

Earlier, on the social media platform “Truth Social,” he stated that he would return to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, adding that his predecessor Joe Biden had damaged the prospects for dialogue through “stupid” decisions.

“During my first term, Serbia and Kosovo were clashing heavily, as they had been for decades, and this long-standing conflict threatened to turn into war. I stopped it. Biden undermined the long-term prospects with some very stupid decisions, but I will fix it again,” Trump wrote.
