Vucic: The Serbian people in Kosovo are being subjected to severe terror

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that the Serbian people in Kosovo are being subjected to what he described as "severe terror" and that "Pristina invents something new against them every day," while, as he said, the international community remains silent about the suffering of Orthodox Christians because "it bears responsibility for creating the current situation."

"But no one's candle, including that of those who are terrorizing our people in Kosovo and Metohija, burns until dawn," Vucic said during a visit to Rmanj Monastery in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he was welcomed by Bishop Sergije.

As reported by N1, Vucic said that Serbs should not be assigned geographical qualifiers that further divide them, emphasizing that there are no Bosnian Serbs or Croatian Serbs—only Serbs.

"We are all Serbs. We may live in different countries, but that does not mean we seek to take anyone else's territory, nor is that our concern today. What matters to us is preserving our national unity," Vucic said.

He added, "We are Serbs. There is no difference between Bishop Sergije, Father Slavisa from Kupres, myself, or anyone else. We are simply Serbs—nothing more, but nothing less."

"I will have to issue a warning to various governments and media outlets in the region. If they continue using pejorative terms for the Serbian people in an effort to divide us, we will respond in the same manner," Vucic said.
