The security situation in the country due to the events in Kosovo was alarming and difficult, and the attacks on the Serbs in the province were constant, not since yesterday, but since the arrival of Albin Kurti as the head of the Pristina institutions, the Minister of Defense and the president of the Serbian Progressive Party, Milos Vucevic said today, RTV reported.

Vucevic told Tanjug that this situation was a direct threat to the security of Serbia and that the only glimmer of hope was the rationality of the international community, above all the Quint countries, which, he said, should exert political pressure on Pristina, but that "the loud silence of the international community hurts ".

Vucevic assessed that Kurti wanted a conflict between the Serbs and KFOR and that his ultimate goal was to ethnically cleanse the north of Kosovo and Metohija from the Serbs.

"Constant pressures and arrests, attacks, banning trucks from entering Kosovo and Metohija with food and medical supplies are aimed at making the Serbs think that there is no way for them to survive there," the Minister of Defense of Serbia said.
