Vucic condemns attack on Trump: Political violence is cowardice in its worst form

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, condemned the attack on U.S. President Donald Trump, stressing that the world is already facing too much violence and that Serbia condemns it in all its forms.

“I strongly condemn the armed attack on U.S. President Donald Trump and his family. I received the news of the shooting with great concern, but also with relief, as President Trump, other high-ranking officials, and the journalists present were unharmed,” Vucic wrote on the social network X.

He stated that political violence represents cowardice in its worst form, one that undermines every state and leads to even deeper divisions.

Vucic added that it is particularly concerning that this incident was preceded by two previous attacks on Trump, which must be taken seriously as a clear warning, raising the question of what message such acts send.

“The world is already facing too much violence, and therefore Serbia strongly condemns every form of it, advocating dialogue as the foundation of any true democracy and the only sustainable path toward resolving disagreements,” the Serbian president added.
