Vucic: Everything about the “Sarajevo Safari” is a lie; in Pristina they are nervous over the “Yellow House” and don’t know what to do

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated today that the international community itself opened Pandora’s box and that it is uncertain whether anyone will ever close it. Commenting on the statement by Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti that a special international judicial body should be engaged to deal with the “Sarajevo Safari” case, Vucic reiterated that every word about the “Sarajevo Safari” is a lie.

“This is because of the ‘Yellow House’ and the problems they are facing, so they do not know what to do. We are speaking only about the ‘Yellow House,’ where horrific things took place. But far worse is the fact that 14 percent of your territory was taken from you in violation of international law, and that everything possible was done to destroy a sovereign country. Everything that Europeans are facing today, they were doing back then. They themselves opened Pandora’s box, and whether anyone will ever close it remains unknown,” Vucic stressed.

He added that Serbia can take pride in having respected international law and in having principles and a consistent policy, unlike others.

Referring to the accusations he has been facing for some time, he pointed out that an image had even been fabricated with the help of artificial intelligence, showing a rifle hanging over his left shoulder.

“Anyone who knows understands that if you are right-handed, there is no way you would hang something over your left shoulder. But there is no point explaining even when they stage and fabricate things,” Vucic told journalists during his visit to the Zajecar District.

He emphasized that the fact he is blamed for everything demonstrates how much Serbia’s success bothers them.

He also referred to his meeting with the Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement, Gert Jan Koopman, noting that the discussion was constructive and that many will be surprised by Serbia’s progress on its European path.
