Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today that the UNMIK report, which the United Nations Security Council will review at its session on October 21, will not show all the horrors of Albin Kurti’s government, but it will highlight the problems faced by the Serbian population in Kosovo.

"The report will be partially objective. It will not show all the horrors of Kurti’s governance, but it will certainly point out the problems the Serbian people face, because everyone can see that now. All our partners in the West, Americans, Europeans… You can no longer hide it, nor repeat the same story you have been telling for two years or however long," Vucic said.

He emphasized that everyone can see who is persecuting the Serbian people in Kosovo.

When asked if he expects a harsher reaction from Brussels or Washington, he responded negatively, but added that the sharp reaction from Washington was already evident in its decision to suspend the possibility of a strategic dialogue with Pristina.

"It would be easy for Pristina to comply – don’t deal with the Russians, don’t deal with the Chinese, this or that… But they (the US) cut it off because of Pristina’s attitude toward them, and that is important news," the Serbian President stressed.

On the other hand, he explained that for Brussels at this moment, it is important that everyone is anti-Russian oriented and that such a policy is maintained.

"In Brussels, they feel, rightly or not, threatened by Russia, just as the Russians feel threatened by the entire Western side… That is why Putin emphasized the power of the Russian army and the lack of fear of Europe or NATO, showing that they can’t impose anything on him. Signals are sent differently in international politics. I fear for our country, from sanctions on NIS, let alone bigger issues… When rockets, shells, and bombs start falling, then it is the end," Vucic warned.
