Vukasinovic arrived home: He kissed his native land, and then hugged his crying mother
Uros Vukasinovic from Leposavic, who was released today pending trial after spending a month in custody, was welcomed in front of his birthplace by his mother, numerous relatives, and friends, who did not hide their emotions that he was finally with his loved ones.
Vukasinovic arrived with his father at his home located in the Tvrdjen neighborhood shortly after 5:30 p.m.
After getting out of the car, he first crossed himself, kissed the ground in front of his birthplace, and thanked God.
"Thank God, finally, I am at home," Vukasinovic said.
Immediately afterward, he hugged his mother, who, like Uros, could not hold back her tears as she finally saw her son after a month of extreme uncertainty.
Vukasinovic, who is employed in the daughter company of Telekom Srbija in Kosovo, "MTS" d.o.o. by the decision of the court, was released today pending trial since his defense attorney previously posted bail.
Uros Vukasinovic was arrested on June 19 not far from his house in the Tvrdjen neighborhood when he was traveling to work at his company "MTS" d.o.o. whose employee he is. He was then abducted by two people in a white "Volkswagen" car without markings, and after that, he was ordered to be detained for 30 days for an alleged attack on journalists. Until today, he was in the custody unit in Podujevo.
