World officials extend Statehood Day congratulations to Vucic

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic received congratulations from numerous world officials on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia.

The national holiday of the Republic of Serbia was congratulated by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who, among other things, emphasized the strong ties between the two countries through close economic and especially social and interpersonal relations.

“Serbia is one of Germany’s key partners in the region, whose stability and European future are of great mutual importance to us,” the congratulatory message from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany states.

On the occasion of the national holiday, congratulations to Vucic and the people of Serbia were also sent by the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, the President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the President of the Republic of Slovenia Natasa Pirc Musar, the President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanovic, the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj, the President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermudez, the President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Pena Palacios, the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mohammed Shahabuddin, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Sheikh Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, as well as the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Sam Mostyn.

A congratulatory message on the occasion of Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia was also sent by King Charles III of the United Kingdom, which, among other things, states:

“This day serves as a valuable opportunity to reflect on the enduring friendship between our peoples. I am deeply encouraged by the strength of our bilateral ties and remain committed to fostering even closer cooperation in the years to come.”

Vucic was also congratulated on the holiday by King Felipe VI of Spain, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Emperor Naruhito of Japan, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
