Xhinovci: There are people who were killed as civilians and registered as KLA fighters

Kosovo analyst Ron Xhinovci said tonight on KTV that there were many people in Kosovo who were killed as civilians during the war and who were registered as fallen fighters, which, in his opinion, would be a problem for Kosovo to accuse Serbia of genocide.

He said that the statement of the defense of the accused in The Hague that they could not form an army even though they tried, and today there are 60,000 war veterans, will be a problem.

"In addition to fake veterans, there are also many people in Kosovo who were buried as civilians and registered as combatants. This became a problem for us with the lawsuits against Serbia. You present your civilians on the tombstones as martyrs of the KLA, and Serbia had the right under the law of war to kill armed men," Xhinovci said.

He believes that nothing has been done to shed light on the crimes and find the perpetrators of war crimes, as well as that Kosovo is unable to create institutions of justice.

"Today, the defense stated 10 massacres, trying to protect Hashim Thaci. There is no knowledge in Kosovo about this. A private individual, Shkelzen Gashi, collects information about the massacres in Kosovo and he informed me that there are 75 of them with more than 10 people. Thachi's defense does not know how many massacres have been committed in Kosovo. Who is to blame here, how to build a country on the narrative of suffering, victimization, nobody has done anything. People have been protesting every day since June 1999 because things are going badly," Xhinovci warned.

He repeated that anyone who had the power to do something about this issue "did nothing to prove what Serbia did".
