Dacic: Elections important for the political stability in Serbia

Ivica Dacic, the President of the Socialist Party of Serbia, stated that the elections were very significant because it was important for Serbia to have political stability and state unity in the coming period, RTV reports.

"I would like to draw attention that these are very important elections because Serbia is in a decisive period when the most important issues of national and state importance will be on the agenda, and it is very important for Serbia to have political stability and state unity in the coming period", Dacic said.

He added that the elections were important for the Socialist Party of Serbia, its future, and its place on the political scene.

"We are ready to be as responsible as possible for the further development of Serbia. I hope for a good election result and the continuation of successful policies that are in the interest of Serbia and the people as a whole. Let tonight be a celebration of democracy. I am confident in the victory of our coalition together with our partners and the Serbian Progressive Party", Dacic stated.
