Popovic: The Serbs from Kosovo in the elections demonstrated unity and resilience against pressures from Pristina
The Chief of the Kosovo District and Vice President of the Serb List, Srdjan Popovic, emphasized that the Serbs from Kosovo in yesterday's elections had demonstrated that they did not succumb to pressures from Pristina and believed that the policy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic led to peace and stability.
Popovic emphasized that the Serbs from Kosovo had shown unity, which obliged political representatives to work even more and better in the future.
"Once again, we have shown how much unity there is among the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. These good results oblige us to work even more and better for every individual, for every family living in Kosovo and Metohija. The Serbs from these areas have once again shown that they do not succumb to any pressures, violence, or persecution from Pristina. This was demonstrated in yesterday's elections, where the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija turned out in very large numbers", Popovic stated.
This is an indicator, Popovic adds, that the only way, the path of truth and justice, is the one led by President Aleksandar Vucic.
"The Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija have endured a lot, especially over the past 20 years, so they do not succumb to false promises or, as I mentioned, pressures, and they know how to recognize true values. So, in yesterday's elections, we sent a clear and unequivocal message", Popovic concluded.
