Vucic: We are keeping Kosovo as a part of Serbia, we will not give away what is ours

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated tonight that the country faced significant pressures and problems because it was keeping Kosovo as a part of its territory and refused to give up what had belonged, belonged currently, and would forever belong to Serbia.

"Elections in Serbia are not a joke. On the contrary, it has never been more important and serious, and greater responsibility has never been needed. I say this with full awareness of the pressures and problems awaiting us because we are preserving Kosovo as a part of Serbia. Because we will not renounce what is ours, what belonged, belongs, and will belong to Serbia", Vucic said at a pre-election rally for the "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop" list in Novi Sad.

The assembled crowd greeted his words with loud applause and chants of "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia".

He added that this was one part of all the pressures awaiting Serbia, regarding sanctions against Russia and other issues, emphasizing the need for a strong, united state and a consistent policy.

He stated that the sole goal of all opposition lists was to remove him from power, without having a policy on any issue, including Kosovo.

"For them, not even Kosovo is a topic because everyone's priority is to overthrow Vucic. That is their policy; they do not even know what to do with Kosovo, with our economy, with their people", Vucic said.
