Delevic: Adzic's detention has been extended for two months, we will file an appeal

Lawyer Milos Delevic, who represents Miljan Adzic, confirmed for Kosovo Online that his client's detention had been extended for another two months and announced an appeal against this decision.

"I have been informed today that Adzic's detention has been extended for another two months, and I will appeal this decision," Delevic said.

As Delevic said for our portal, Adzic was in prison in Podujevo, which was an aggravating circumstance for him and his family.

"I will file an appeal against this decision today, but I will also request for Adzic to be transferred to the prison in North Mitrovica. The aggravating circumstance for him is that his parents are sick, and he has small children, so they are not able to visit him in Podujevo".

According to Delevic, the response to the appeal can be expected during the next week.

Miljan Adzic was arrested on December 9, and the prosecution charged him with an alleged attack on a police member during a protest in October 2021.
