Keselj condemned the mistreatment of Serbian athletes from Kosovo: The State of Serbia is always with its people in Kosovo
The State Secretary in the Ministry of Sports of Serbia, Marko Keselj, condemned the mistreatment of Serbian athletes from Kosovo and the silence of the international community regarding such behavior by Pristina, Informer writes.
Former Serbian basketball player Marko Keselj pointed out that it was sad to hear how the police mistreated sports coaches and children.
"It is a sad day when we have to listen to the news that the police of the so-called state are questioning the coach about what he is preparing the children for and what the children are training for," Keselj said.
He added that it was just one of a series of similar examples.
"Countless times we have seen how international authorities blindly observe the actions of Kurti's villains, whose only task is to exterminate the Serbs from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. From constant threats, robberies, and baseless and fabricated reasons for arrests, to injuring Serbian children on our holy holidays, they always carry it out as a monstrous treat for them, and there is no Christmas or Easter when their criminal acts are not repeated," Keselj said.
He added that the silence of the international community was worrying.
"The world has not seen this kind of oppression and mistreatment, and the fact that Europe is mostly silent on such shameful moves by the so-called Kosovo authorities hurts even more," Keselj points out.
According to him, the Ministry of Sports will continue to support athletes from Kosovo
"The Ministry of Sports and the State of Serbia are with all their athletes in Kosovo and Metohija, children and professional athletes who have been fighting for years to enable them the basic human and sports right, to compete and win. The State of Serbia will always and forever be with its people," Keselj said.
