The Basic Court in Pristina has sentenced Nenad Orlovic to 15 months in prison and a fine of 12,000 euros for participating in the unrest in Zvecan on May 29 last year, Koha reports.
The president of the judicial panel, Valbona Musliu Selmaj, stated that the decision would become directly applicable as it was the result of a plea agreement.
Orlovic was convicted of the criminal offenses of "participating in a mob in committing criminal offenses" and "hooliganism and assault on an official." He has been in detention since June 23 of last year.
The day after Orlovic's arrest, a video from his interrogation appeared on social media, showing him shirtless but with a black bag over his head and face, with his hands tied behind his back.
