Residents of Gracanica: We have been living in a "modern holocaust" for more than 20 years; the formation of the CSM is necessary

For the Serbs in Kosovo, since the Kosovo Parliament proclaimed the Declaration of Independence, life is getting worse and worse every year, the residents of Gracanica say.

While a festive atmosphere prevails in Pristina, the situation is quite different in Gracanica. On the main street of Gracanica, one can notice only a few cars with prominent Albanian and Kosovo flags. The Serbs from that city, who decided to talk to our reporter, say that a "modern Holocaust" has been carried out on them for more than 20 years.

"Serbs in Kosovo are currently in the worst position since the existence of the Serbian state. I hope this self-proclamation, this robbery will not end disastrously for the Serbs. We are disappearing slowly, because of the situation we found ourselves in. Unfortunately, great international pressure on our government and the state contributes to it. This is a modern holocaust that has been going on for 23 years," Zorica Velic told Kosovo Online.

Predrag Ilic also agrees with her, who points out that, without the formation of the CSM, the Serbs will be in uncertainty.

"Serbs live here worse than in 1999. We are in a bad position, until the CSM is formed it will be uncertain," Predrag Ilic said.
