Students from the University of Pristina, temporarily based in Kosovska Mitrovica, gathered today to protest and express their dissatisfaction with the current situation in northern Kosovo.

As they told our portal, with this action, they want to express their "outrage over the terror from Pristina and the passivity of the international community."

The student protest began symbolically at 12:44 PM in front of the Student Center in North Mitrovica.

The students then marched toward the main bridge and the police station in the city, wearing tape over their mouths and demonstratively showing their student ID books to the police on the street.

Citizens who were present on the promenade at the time greeted them with applause.
