Lawyer Miljkovic: Vlaskovic did not attack journalists, nor is he the person in the picture published in Pristina

Lawyer Predrag Miljkovic, the defense attorney for the arrested Nemanja Vlaskovic, stated to Kosovo Online that his client did not attack journalists in Leposavic on May 29th, and there is evidence to support that. He also emphasized that Vlaskovic is not the person in the picture published by representatives of Pristina.

The Minister of Internal Affairs in Pristina, Xhelal Svecla, announced the arrest and shared a photograph showing an individual wearing a hood and darkened glasses among a protesting group, claiming it to be Nemanja Vlaskovic.

"I can say that the person in the circulating photograph is not Vlaskovic. He can be seen in a broader view of the same picture, standing in the seventh row. He did not attack journalists, and according to our evidence, he could not have done so. I will submit the evidence of my client's innocence to the court, including the photograph," Miljkovic said.

Miljkovic added that "both he and his client condemn any attack on journalists."

The deadline for determining further measures against Vlaskovic is tomorrow afternoon.
