According to the mission, the activities are being carried out in coordination with the Kosovo Police and KFOR as part of the three-tier security mechanism.

“Since the early morning hours on election day in the Republic of Serbia, EULEX has increased the presence of its Formed Police Unit patrols near the main common crossing points between Kosovo and Serbia in order to monitor the situation on the ground, in coordination with the Kosovo Police and KFOR, within the three-tier security mechanism,” EULEX said in a post on X.
