Egzon Azemi, a member of the Self-Determination Movement and political advisor to the Minister of Health Arben Vitia, stated that it is time to send the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) to the north.

"It is time to send the KSF to the northern part of the country," Azemi wrote on Facebook.

Regarding the deployment of the Kosovo Army to the north of Kosovo, Albin Kurti also spoke today after the Security Council meeting.

"A decade ago, former Prime Minister Thaci unilaterally committed to the former NATO Secretary General Rasmussen, stating that Kosovo's security forces will not cross the Ibar River, and since 2013, we do not have an army in the north of Kosovo because of that. Consequently, NATO, namely KFOR, is the army of Kosovo in the north of Kosovo and it guards the border," Kurti said.
